SP’s Weekly Photo Challenge June 17 – 24

The Challenge this week is Selfie Reflections. Remember, the idea is to create the image the week of the challenge. This is about staying creative and inspired. It’s about trying something new and different. If you have suggestions, comment. If you want to participate, you can ping back to this page. This is an older photo, just to get your attention. I’ll load a new one soon!

Currier’s Music is located in downtown Richmond, KY. While this store is empty, they haven’t closed. They’ve moved just around the corner

Favorites

The weekly photo challenge is to post your all time favorites. That’s a tough one. My favorites change from day to day. But I’ll post some of my current favorites.

Where ever I go, there I am

The weekly photo challenge is Place in the World.  Where do you belong?  I belong everywhere. When I feel like I’m in a creative rut or need some inspiration, I don’t go to a safe place. I try to go somewhere that I’ve never been. I try to learn something new. Whether it’s a large city or a small town, it’s where I belong in that moment. The travel and newness wake me up!

Arches and Lines

The Weekly Photo Challenge is Lines.

The Central Market in Budapest, Hungary is a marvel of lines and curves, iron and glass combine to create a large, well lit space.

A portrait of a different kind

The weekly photo challenge is A Face in the Crowd.  To create a portrait of a different kind.

Time to Eat the Donuts

The weekly photo challenge is sweet. I don’t eata lot of sweets on a regular basis. But I do tend to splurge a bit when I travel. When I was Richmond, VA, I went to a local Farmer’s Market where there was a donut truck. People were lined up for these donuts. Once I had one, I knew why. They were delicious! The donut makers were also nice enough to allow me to take some photos.

Sunsphere Variations

The weekly photo challenge is Variations on a Theme. I have tons of photos of the Sunsphere in my hometown of Knoxville, TN.
