Most photographers love reflections. I am no exception. A great deal of my photos are street photography from cities and small towns. My favorite thing is take photos of window reflections. The images are a mix of what’s inside and what’s outside, giving it a sense of place and time.

It’s Wednesday! A great day for me to share some water art and photography.
Sailboats Reflected
This image is one of the first images I put up for sale on Fine Art America. It’s a favorite of mine and many other people love it as well. It was early morning and the fog was rolling out across the calm water.

Seán Heuston Bridge
This is from Dublin, Ireland. A sunny day with calm water on the River Liffey. The Seán Heuston Bridge like many of the bridges in Dublin, has had several different names, including King’s Bridge and Sarsfield Bridge. The bridge is now for tram and foot traffic only.

Serenity on the Water
The sun was setting and the water was calm. A single boat sat just past the lone tree on the bank.

Prague Skyline at Sunset
We took a sunset cruise and as we went by the historic city, I fell in love.

Winter on the Lake
I was visiting my parents in December. The sun shining through the trees created the most amazing shadows. The wind blew the water just enough to create a very slight ripple. Definitely a favorite of mine.

A composite created from photos and some experimental Photoshop work. I love the colors and mood of this image.
SP’s Weekly Photo Challenge was Water and Glass. We got some great entries. Some did not have water, but adult liquids instead. We were fine with that.
The Challenge this week is Selfie Reflections. Remember, the idea is to create the image the week of the challenge. This is about staying creative and inspired. It’s about trying something new and different. If you have suggestions, comment. If you want to participate, you can ping back to this page. This is an older photo, just to get your attention. I’ll load a new one soon!

I live in East Tennessee, so a great many of my photos are from the area. We sometimes take our home town for granted. We ignore the history, the landmarks, and the beauty. Last year, I tried to make an effort to take photos of my area just like I would if I were a tourist. I ended up with a collection of reflection photos from downtown Knoxville and some nice photos from rural Tennessee. Of course, the Sunsphere appears as well.
