Fair Nostalgia

Everybody remembers going to the local fair. It’s warm outside and the day is long. You arrive, buy your handful of tickets for rides and games. I know, it’s wristbands now, but in my day, it was tickets. The music is blaring from the rides and the carnies are yelling out to passersby, “Win a prize!” The smell of corn dogs and polish sausage fill the air. Funnel cakes are obtained and eaten. And at the end of the day, the sun sets and the lights come on.

If you enjoy my work, good news, you can buy prints. All of my images are available for sale on Etsy and Fine Art America.  Check out both or either for some great art prints or something else unique.

My Etsy shop is Purple Rosemary and the majority of my travel photography is available. Prints in basic sizes, from 5 x 7 to 24 x 36 and some other cool stuff.  It’s a good place to find images of your favorite small town or big city.

My Fine Art America shop has all of images, including some of my more artsy endeavors. You can also find products, like coffee mugs, greeting cards, towels, and more. Some pretty awesome shower curtains and yoga mats are available there.

It’s the end of the year and time for lots of recaps and recalls. Today, I want to share with you some of my best selling prints from my shop on Etsy– Purple Rosemary. Feel free to share your own best sellers in the comments!

Etsy Listings

I sell quite a bit in my Etsy Shop – Purple Rosemary. These are just a few of the big sellers.

Richmond, VA skyline, featuring the Lucky Strike Chimney and water tower. I’ve had several people tell me that the chimney was an important part of their childhood memories.
The Library at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Book lovers appreciate this one, as well as, lovers of black and white art.
Apothecary Jars with medicinal liquids inside. Whatever ails you, we have the cure. This prints sells at least once a month. But as often as it sells, I get a question asking if I sell the labels with the jars.
Who can resist these beauties? Cowgirls and fashionistas all over love this image. I admit, it is one of my all time favorites!
The Tennessee Theatre marquee on Gay Street in Knoxville, TN. People from all over the United States order this one. I expected to sell to people in Knoxville. But I have only sold a few to the locals.
This map is a favorite in Knoxville. I had one person order several poster sized images to give as gifts.
The Sunsphere on a cloudy evening in the fall. This has been very popular recently.

Be sure to visit my shop and see if you are looking for a great gift for someone. Or maybe you just want to own something unique for yourself! Thank you for visiting my gallery.

How would it look?

A new gallery with some of my images in living spaces. Ever wonder what it would look like on the wall? I used an extension for Photoshop created by Giovanni Allievi. Visit his page and check out his work and if you can purchase the extension there as well.

A gallery of travel maps in place

They look great in these spaces. The soft, muted tones look great on dark walls or light. Did you know that you can purchase my prints already framed? It makes  decorating so much easier.

Some more of my favorites
